OUR FUND OF FUNDS

Our Fund of Funds strategy, aims to provide sophisticated investors with a diversified means of accessing the significant private equity opportunities available to finance growth of middle market enterprises in emerging Asia, particularly in India and China. We employ a FoF approach, investing in a select number of private equity funds targeting investments in India, China and South East Asia.

In terms of sectors, we target fund managers who focus on investments in companies where growth is driven by increased GDP per capita and rising disposable incomes. We also focus on opportunities related to gaps in the supply chain, sectors where spending on infrastructure is leading to related opportunities for capital efficient companies, clean technologies and asset-light manufacturing. We mainly seek investments in funds whose target size ranges from US$100-$500 million.

Our Fund of Funds strategy is focused 100% in Emerging Asia, with approximately half our investments targeted in India, and other half in China and South East Asia. In addition, in executing this strategy we also seek selected direct investments, mostly in the form of co-investments alongside our core relationship funds in the region.
