INVESTMENT TEAM
Capvent has created a cohesive and experienced team, which is led by 4 senior partners who are supported by 18 investment professionals and 4 administrative staff professionals. In total, 18 investment professionals are based in Asia (Guangzhou, Shanghai, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Panjim), and in Europe (Zurich). Multiple Asia offices enable a comprehensive and local on-the-ground approach as a knowledgeable and local investment partner in the Asia private equity market.
The senior team has numerous years of direct private equity fund experience, including LBO, mezzanine, growth financing, distressed for control and venture capital related deals in emerging markets such as India and China and in developed markets such as Europe and North America.
Aarti Koya
Vice President
Aarti is a Vice President at Capvent India Advisors, and spends equal time out of our Shanghai and India offices. She is responsible for macro research, due diligence of international and Indian private equity funds, companies and industries, and performance monitoring. Previously, she worked in the derivatives segment of the National Stock Exchange of India. Her responsibilities included analyzing and monitoring transactions, establishing monitoring benchmarks, automation and integration of the surveillance system and increasing investor awareness. In addition, she was a guest lecturer for derivatives and corporate finance at various Indian institutes and universities. She holds a Masters degree in Financial Services and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Goa University.
Souba Giridhar
Vice President
Souba is a Vice President at Capvent India Advisors. She is responsible for research, analysis, due diligence of international and Indian focused funds and performance monitoring. Prior to Capvent, she was an instructor of Marketing and Accountancy for five years. Before that, she worked at Murugappa Morgan Thermal Ceramics and was responsible for the preparation of management reports and costing/budgeting functions. She holds a Masters degree in Commerce from Pondicherry University and has a diploma in Systems Management from NIIT.
Li Feng
Vice President
Li Feng is a Vice President at Capvent China. She is responsible for research, analysis, due diligence of China focused funds and performance monitoring. Prior to Capvent, she was a manager & senior analyst at Evalueserve (China) for three years. She also worked as an analyst at Optan Financial before that. She obtained her MBA degree at State University of New York at Binghamton, and has been in the PhD in Finance program at University of Chapel Hill for two and half years.
