We maintain a research driven, value focused and ‘alpha’ return oriented approach that focuses strictly on the middle market looking at country specific opportunities in markets of India, China, and South East Asia, rather than the more common ‘beta’ return approach that focuses on providing access to larger and name brand marquee funds.

Capvent believes the search for alpha returns should be relentless and, to derive superior relative returns in the asset class, investors should be made aware of opportunities in specific sectors and geographies to determine their allocation decisions.
