Aluri leads the life sciences practice at ICICI Venture, the oldest and largest private equity firm in India. He focuses on the emerging biotech, restructuring pharma, evolving healthcare and the enabling technology sectors.

His private equity experience has spanned from turning around startups, identifying innovative investment opportunities, investing in growth opportunities, managing buyouts and executing successful exits. Prior to joining ICICI Ventures in 2000, Aluri has had over 13 years of organizational building and corporate experience in the pharmaceutical sector with large Indian companies like Ranbaxy and Natco Pharma.

He is a Sloan fellow and has completed the one-year program in General Management from London Business School.
