Hetal was`the former CEO for the financial services business of Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited (IL&FS), a well-known financial institution in India focusing on infrastructure financing and financial services.

Hetal has 16 years of experience spanning private equity, investment banking and asset financing. He was the managing director of IL&FS Investment Managers Limited (“IIML”). IIML is the private equity arm of IL&FS Group, of which IL&FS acquired management control from Lazard Credit Capital in September 1996. Hetal recruited and managed the private equity team for IL&FS till 2002, and has led number of deals and exits. He has built and maintained an extensive and varied network of relationships with companies, private equity investors and investment bankers that should help to provide excellent deal flow. Prior to this, he was engaged in management consulting for 3 years with AF Ferguson & Co.

He is a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and was one of the founding members of TiE Network in Bangalore.
