Jay is the founder, President and CEO of MedSphere International, Inc., a FDA registered medical device company. Its wholly owned China subsidiary, MedSphere International (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., is a leading developer and manufacturer of RF ablation devices in the Greater China market.

A veteran medical device executive with 17 years of experience, he has a track record of leading product from concept to commercialization, and hands-on experience in cross-pacific operations. Prior to founding MedSphere, he was involved in several medical device startup companies that have successfully gone public. Prior to that, he held management positions at Medtronic and B. Braun.

Jay holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University and a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Ohio State University. He has 19 US patents issued to his credit.
